Whiz Kid: Dustin Gagne Completes Reading Challenge

This week, we spotlight Hathaway Elementary School first-grader Dustin Gagne as Portsmouth Patch's Whiz Kid of the Week.

School: Grade 1,
Accomplishment: Dustin recently completed a literary challenge at the school called "Journey Through Books." Students are asked to read at least 100 pages in each literary genre chosen by the school. The genres range from "natural science" to "sports."

Key to Awesomeness: Dustin says he likes to "study math." Aside from his school work, Dustin plays baseball and enjoys "four-wheeling." He also recently completed a craft project with his first grade class.
