Whiz Kid: Tatum Horley Completes Reading Challenge
Tatum Horley, a first-grader at Hathaway Elementary School, recently completed a "Journey Through Books" literary challenge.
This week, we spotlight Hathaway Elementary School first-grader Tatum Horley as Portsmouth Patch's Whiz Kid of the Week.

School: Grade 1,
Accomplishment: Tatum recently completed a literary challenge at the school called "Journey Through Books." Students are asked to read at least 100 pages in each literary genre chosen by the school. The genres range from "natural science" to "sports."
Key to Awesomeness: Tatum is also a member of the Portsmouth Pirates Soccer Team, where she was named most valuable player (MVP) last season. She received a soccer trophy for her accomplishment.
