2 Teens Killed, 2 Injured In Providence County Car Crash: Report
The crash happened overnight Wednesday on Salisbury Road in rural Foster, according to a report.
FOSTER, RI — Two teenagers were killed and two others were injured Wednesday in an overnight car crash in Providence County, according to a report.
The crash happened on Salisbury Road in rural Foster, 12 News reported. Authorities told the station that four teenagers were in the vehicle, and two were pronounced dead at the scene. The two injured teens were taken to a hospital for evaluation, according to 12 News.
It's unclear what caused the crash or if any other vehicles were involved.

In a statement provided to 12 News, Renee Palazzo, superintendent of the Foster-Glocester Regional School District, confirmed the two teens killed were Ponaganset students.
"Sadly, our Ponaganset community is mourning the loss of two students who passed away last night from a car accident," Palazzo wrote. "Our sympathy goes out to the families affected by this loss. We are here to support those who are impacted by this incident and school counselors, school psychologists, and school social workers will be available to speak with students about this tragedy starting tomorrow."
