4 Arrested After Yearslong Drug Investigation In Providence: Reports
The bust involved three separate cases on Longfellow, Julian, and Clarence Streets, reports say.
PROVIDENCE, RI — Four people have been arrested and are facing drug charges after a Providence drug and guns bust that was the result of a "meticulous and rigorous two-year investigation into narcotics distribution," police told multiple outlets including WPRI Friday.
The bust involved three separate cases on Longfellow, Julian, and Clarence Streets and resulted in the arrests of Kelvin Feliz, 53, Eric Bicknell, 44, and Anthony Chum, 25, for narcotics and firearm-related charges, and of Malik Ramos, 25, for an armed robbery on South Water Street, ABC6 Providence reported.
"Through the excellent work of the Providence Police Department, we have four fewer individuals distributing illegal drugs in our city, there are seven fewer firearms on our streets, all of which will make our communities safer," Providence Mayor Brett Smiley said, according to WPRI.
