Jared Freid

What: Comedian and podcaster Jared Freid will play four shows over the weekend, with two on Friday and Saturday, respectively. Freid hosts two podcasts, including JTrain and U Up? with Jordana Abraham. He released his first full-length comedy album "Always a Momma Bear" in 2019, which debuted at the top of the iTunes Comedy Charts, and third on the Billboard Comedy Charts. It was ranked the ninth best comedy album of the year by SiriusXM Comedy. In 2021, his special "Socially Distanced… Of Course" premiered on YouTube.

Daveapalooza 2022
What: Proclamation Ale is rolling out special collaboration beers for this Saturday event, which also features live music from the metal band Burr and Bedtime. Civil skateshop will also set up a skate ramp, and these food vendors will be in attendance:

Chewy, People Eating Plastic and Jesse the Tree
What: Chewy, a Philadelphia band who describes their music as "angular, chaotic, progressive rock", will play alongside Providence rapper Jesse the Tree and math rock band People Eating Plastic.
When: Saturday, 8 p.m.

What: Folk legend Steve Earle stops in East Greenwich for a Sunday evening concert. He debuted in 1986 with the acclaimed "Guitar Town" album, and since has won Grammy awards for three others, "The Revolution Starts...Now", "Washington Square Serenade", and "TOWNES".
When: Sunday, doors at 6 p.m., show at 7 p.m.

August Burns Red
What: Metal band August Burns Red is touring this summer, and on Sunday will make a stop in Providence with supporting acts We Came as Romans, Hollow Front and Void of Vision. The band put out a live album of "Leveler" in 2022, as well as a two-song EP.
