Admission To Roger Williams Park Zoo Waived As Heat Impacts Animal Activity
Some animals may not be visible due to the heat, but it's free to get in to the zoo.
PROVIDENCE, RI — Admission to Roger Williams Park Zoo is free Thursday and Friday due to the extreme heat.
"Due to the heat, some animals may not be visible as they choose to stay cool indoors," the zoo said in a media release.
"And attractions, including our dog show, will be closed," the release said. "The Big Back Yard will be open for water play activities."

Following the two free days, admission Saturday will be $4 in honor of the Fourth of July.
