PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence man was arrested on fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine and gun charges, police said.
Lorenzo Medina Rivas, 30, was arrested Monday by the Rhode Island State Police High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area task force and Special Investigations Unit, the state police said in a media release.
Medina Rivas was arrested on charges of possession with the intent to deliver fentanyl, possession with the intent to deliver cocaine, possession with the intent to deliver methamphetamine, possession of a firearm while committing a controlled substance violation, possession of a ghost gun and large-capacity feeding devices prohibited, the release said.
Rivas was processed at the Lincoln Barracks, special arraigned by a justice of the peace, and turned over to officials at the Adult Correctional Institutions Intake Center pending a morning arraignment in Sixth Division District Court, according to the release.
