Providence Man Charged With Possessing Child Pornography: Police

PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence man was charged with possessing child pornography, police said.

Claudio Isaid Vasquez Rodriguez, 19, was arrested Thursday by the Rhode Island State Police Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, the state police said in a media release.

"Mr. Rogriguez was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and transported to Sixth Division District Court," the release said.

"Mr. Rodriguez was arraigned before the Honorable Judge William J. Trezvant, where bail was set at $10,000 personal recognizance, with special conditions of limited Internet access and no intentional contact with minors," according to the release.
