Central Falls Man Charged With Obstruction

PROVIDENCE, RI — A Central Falls man was charged with obstruction of an officer in the execution of duty, police said.

Pastor Garcia Pichardo, 26, was pulled over and arrested on Branch Avenue in Providence shortly before 4 a.m. Thursday, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Garcia Pichardo was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and "held overnight pending morning arraignment at Sixth Division District Court," the release said.
