Providence Man Wanted On Shoplifting Charge Surrenders: Cops

PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence man wanted on a shoplifting charge surrendered to the law, police said.

Dederick Gunn, 56, turned himself into at the Scituate Barracks, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Gunn was wanted by the Johnston police, according to the release.

Gunn was "processed and later turned over to the Johnston Police Department," the release said.
