Warwick Man Charged With DUI: Cops

PROVIDENCE, RI — A Warwick man was charged with driving under the influence, police said.

Davie Martinez, age 45, was pulled over and arrested on Sorrento Street in Providence shortly after 2:30 a.m. Friday, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Martinez was also charged with refusing to submit to a chemical test, the release said.

Martinez was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and held pending a morning arraignment, according to the release.
