Providence Man Wanted On Shoplifting Charges Nabbed: Cops

PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence man wanted on shoplifting charges was apprehended, police said.

Enoc Lopez Sanchez, 35, was pulled over and arrested on Union Avenue in Providence shortly after 2 a.m. Friday, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Lopez Sanchez was wanted by the Cranston Police Department, according to the release.

Lopez Sanchez was processed at state police headquarters and "transported to the Cranston Police Department," the release said.
