2 Providence Men Charged With Wire Fraud And Aggravated ID Theft: Cops

They were investigated by the Violent Fugitive Task Force, police said.

PROVIDENCE, RI — Two Providence men were arrested on federal wire fraud and aggravated identity theft charges, police said.

Jose Cabezudo, 33, and Moises Carrasco, 29, were arrested about 6:30 a.m. Friday, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

The arrests were the "result of an investigation conducted by the Violent Fugitive Task Force," the release said.

Cabezudo and Carrasco were "taken into custody, turned over to the United States Marshals Service, and transported to the Providence Federal Courthouse," according to the release.
