Providence Woman Charged With DUI: Cops

PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence woman was charged with driving under the influence, police said.

Monica Torres Martinez De A, 33, was pulled over and arrested shortly after midnight Oct. 25 on Wadsworth Street in Providence, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Martinez De A was also charged with obstructing an officer in the execution of duty and refusing to submit to a chemical test, the release said.

Martinez De A was processed at state police headquarters, arraigned and "released into the custody of a responsible adult with a notice to appear in Sixth Division District Court," according to police.
