Audience: General (children must be age 4+) Cost: Planetarium show ticket (includes museum admission) is $5/ Museum Members Free. The City Nature Challenge (April 24–27), is an annual international event to collaboratively record as many wildlife observations as possible during a four-day challenge. People from all over the world explore nature in their neighborhoods and cities to find and document wildlife. 2026 marks Rhode Island’s 5th year participating, and we need community members like you to help us record as many species as we can. iNaturalist, a free smartphone app that allows anyone to photograph and identify plants and animals while contributing to real scientific research. Scientists and conservation organizations use this community-collected data to monitor biodiversity and track environmental change. Come learn how your iNaturalist observations can make a difference! In honor of International Tai Chi &amp; Qigong Day, join us at the beautiful Rose Larisa Memorial Park (aka Crescent Park). We will celebrate by practicing qigong under the trees overlooking the Providence River.
Similar to tai chi, qigong was developed as a healing art. Most of the movements are done slowly while standing. This gentle yet powerful practice puts us in touch with our own vital energy (qi). Whether to naturally relieve pain, maintain wellbeing, or find deeper spiritual connection, qigong is beneficial.

Immerse yourself in a fun and creative atmosphere while painting your own unique masterpiece!
Recommended for ages 14 and up.
 ⏰ ARRIVAL TIME Our studio opens 30 minutes prior to class time. We recommend arriving 15–30 minutes early to find parking, grab a drink, and get settled.
Please note: If you arrive late, the artist may not be able to fill you in on the steps you missed, as they will be focused on guiding the rest of the class. If you arrive more than 20 minutes late, we kindly ask that you do not join the session. Late arrivals can be disruptive and may not have enough time to complete the painting. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds or reschedules for late arrivals.
 🚗 PARKING INFO Our studio is located at 150 Main Street (rear entrance), Pawtucket, Rhode Island, and we have two FREE parking lots:
🚗 One directly attached to our entrance 🚗 A second lot just one building down on the same side of the street — clearly labeled
 🪑 WANT TO SIT WITH FRIENDS? If you purchased 2 or more tickets in one transaction, we’ll automatically seat your group together.
If you booked separately but want to sit with someone, please include their first and last names in the “Additional Information / Order Notes” field during checkout.
 🔄 RESCHEDULING &amp; CANCELLATION POLICY All reservations are non-refundable.
However, if you need to reschedule, you may request a reschedule voucher at least 48 hours before your session. You can do this easily on our website — just [click here].
No-shows cannot be rescheduled.
 🚨 CLASS CANCELLATION Classes may be canceled due to low attendance. In this case, we’ll notify you and issue a voucher for a future session. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you to a future class!
