2pm | Our Place in Space Planetarium show There’s no place like home! Begin your journey on Earth and travel through our solar system and beyond. Explore the craters of Mercury, the storms of Neptune, and discover what makes Earth unique before venturing into nebulae and star clusters of the Milky Way galaxy. Show includes updated visuals! Audience: General (children must be age 4+) Cost: Planetarium show ticket (includes museum admission) is $5/ Museum Members Free. IMPORTANT PLANETARIUM SHOW GUIDELINES: Tickets are recommended to be reserved online, including for Museum Members. Availability is limited. All sales are final. Everyone attending the planetarium show needs a ticket. Children must be age 4 or older; those 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Children must be supervised at all times. April Vacation Earth Celebration at the Museum of Natural History

Join Malia Cafasso, TerraCorps Community Engagement Coordinator at Audubon Society of Rhode Island and Stormwater Innovation Center, to learn about how to use iNaturalist and participate in the City Nature Challenge. The City Nature Challenge (April 24–27), is an annual international event to collaboratively record as many wildlife observations as possible during a four-day challenge. People from all over the world explore nature in their neighborhoods and cities to find and document wildlife. 2026 marks Rhode Island’s 5th year participating, and we need community members like you to help us record as many species as we can. iNaturalist, a free smartphone app that allows anyone to photograph and identify plants and animals while contributing to real scientific research. Scientists and conservation organizations use this community-collected data to monitor biodiversity and track environmental change. Come learn how your iNaturalist observations can make a difference! In honor of International Tai Chi &amp; Qigong Day, join us at the beautiful Rose Larisa Memorial Park (aka Crescent Park). We will celebrate by practicing qigong under the trees overlooking the Providence River.
Similar to tai chi, qigong was developed as a healing art. Most of the movements are done slowly while standing. This gentle yet powerful practice puts us in touch with our own vital energy (qi). Whether to naturally relieve pain, maintain wellbeing, or find deeper spiritual connection, qigong is beneficial.

The GFWC&nbsp;Bristol &amp; Providence Counties Women's Club invites you to a FREE viewing of the documentary "Join or Die" - a film about why you should join a club—and why the fate of America, and possibly the length of your life, depends on it.&nbsp;&nbsp; 5:30 PM - Open to the public for Joining Fair 6:00 PM - Film begins. 7:30 PM - Tasty appetizers, sweets and soft drinks.&nbsp; Open to attendees for&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Joining Fair - to learn about local groups to join.
