Roger Williams Park Zoo

During Canine Champions for Conservation, guests can catch high-energy stunt dog performances featuring incredible canine athletes showing off jaw-dropping jumps, fast-paced agility runs, frisbee tricks, and crowd-favorite challenges. From soaring leaps to lightning-quick obstacle courses, each show is packed with action, personality, and plenty of laughs.
These high-energy stunt dog performances highlight the power of positive training and showcase the amazing abilities of rescue and shelter dogs. It is a fun, family-friendly experience that celebrates the bond between dogs and their trainers while keeping audiences cheering from start to finish.

Registration is now open for the Cambridge 5K at <a href="https://www.cambridgeside.com/events" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">CambridgeSide</a>, taking place on Sunday, May 31, 2026. The race benefits the MSPCA &amp; the Helen K. Holland Animal Care Trust Fund and begins at 10 a.m. This is a flat and fast race through the heart of East Cambridge &amp; Inman Square that starts and finishes at CambridgeSide. Monday, June 1, 1-4pm You will have the opportunity to discover, or rediscover, the fascinating collections during this private program exploring the <a href="https://www.providenceri.gov/museum/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Museum of Natural History and Planetarium</a> in Roger Williams Park. Bring a small easel or chair and your drawing or painting materials, and choose your subject from the collections of birds, bears, lions, and Oceanic artifacts. Museum staff will also select some special “guests” from the museum vaults to display. During the program, the instructor will circulate for those who wish feedback, and at the end of the session, attendees will gather to view and discuss each other’s work. Museum is closed to the public during this program. 
Program fee: $35 per adult/ $30 for <a href="https://www.providenceri.gov/museum/membership/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">museum members</a>. Pre-registration required.&nbsp; Permitted Materials: You may bring the medium of your choice — charcoal pencils, graphite, colored pencils, pastels, or watercolor (please, no oils or acrylics).&nbsp; All skill levels are welcome to participate, high school age and older.
