The <a href="https://www.facebook.com/PVDArtisansMarket/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Providence Artisans Market </a>and the <a href="https://friendsoflippittpark.substack.com/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Friends of Lippitt Park</a> are teaming up for a Fall Festival on Saturday, October 4th (Rain Date 10/18) from 10 AM to 2 PM at Lippitt Park. During this event, we will have:
<ul>
<li>Lawn games</li>
<li>Crafts</li>
<li>Donation Bins from Big Brothers Big Sisters of RI for your used textiles and small household goods (clothing, fabric, etc. <a href="https://bigsri.org/donateri/accept-cannot-accept-list" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">learn more about BBBSRI Textile Donations here</a>.)</li>
<li>A Halloween Costume Swap</li>
<li>Information about local composting option from Harvest Cycle</li>
<li>Art from local artisans, as well as the typical Farmers Market fare!</li></ul>
For this event to be great, we need a handful of volunteers and some supplies! If you’re interested in chipping in for a couple hours, please fill out <a href="https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdzp120f0PNc0ef2Ed8qS0ltJlqfAGy44wNu6_x5ZXxvDi-_Q/viewform" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">this form</a>. It will be a great way to give back to the community, meet some neighbors and enjoy the festivities of fall. 🖌️ IN-STUDIO SESSION DETAILS Reserve your spot and enjoy a complimentary beverage—choose from soda, beer, or wine (21+ with valid ID). Additional drinks will be available for purchase. Immerse yourself in a fun and creative atmosphere while painting your own unique masterpiece! Recommended for ages 14 and up. ⏰ ARRIVAL TIME Our studio opens 30 minutes prior to class time. We recommend arriving 15–30 minutes early to find parking, grab a drink, and get settled. Please note: If you arrive late, the artist may not be able to fill you in on the steps you missed, as they will be focused on guiding the rest of the class. If you arrive more than 20 minutes late, we kindly ask that you do not join the session. Late arrivals can be disruptive and may not have enough time to complete the painting. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds or reschedules for late arrivals. 🚗 PARKING INFO Our studio is located at 150 Main Street (rear entrance), Pawtucket, Rhode Island, and we have two FREE parking lots: 🚗 One directly attached to our entrance 🚗 A second lot just one building down on the same side of the street — clearly labeled 🪑 WANT TO SIT WITH FRIENDS? If you purchased 2 or more tickets in one transaction, we’ll automatically seat your group together. If you booked separately but want to sit with someone, please include their first and last names in the “Additional Information / Order Notes” field during checkout. 🔄 RESCHEDULING &amp; CANCELLATION POLICY All reservations are non-refundable. However, if you need to reschedule, you may request a reschedule voucher at least 48 hours before your session. You can do this easily on our website — just click here. No-shows cannot be rescheduled. 🚨 CLASS CANCELLATION Classes may be canceled due to low attendance. In this case, we’ll notify you and issue a voucher for a future session. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you to a future class! ❄️ INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY Because New England weather can be unpredictable, we typically wait until a few hours before class to make final decisions. Step back in time to explore the Betsey Williams Cottage, built in 1773 and home to Roger Williams’ great-great-great granddaughters, Betsey and Rhoda Williams. Upon her death in 1871, Betsey Williams bequeathed the cottage and 102 acres of surrounding farmland to the city of Providence, which became the foundation of Roger Williams Park. 
Drop-in during these FREE open houses to learn about the Cottage’s history and its significance to Roger Williams Park. The open houses are FREE and open to the public. Presented by the <a href="https://www.providenceri.gov/museum/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Museum of Natural History and Planetarium</a>. The Betsey Williams Cottage is located near Roger Williams Park’s Elmwood Avenue entrance.
