Details:
Please come and enjoy the second annual Holiday Lights Celebration at Lippitt Park. This joyful, community-wide event is for everyone: whether you celebrate Hanukkah, Christmas, something else, or nothing at all. Neighbors and friends will gather to share some warmth, light, and music together to celebrate each other and the festive season. All are welcome!

Christmas tree lighting: Santa and Mrs. Claus will help light the Lippitt Park Christmas tree.

Menorah lightning: If you celebrate, please bring your family's menorah for a community lighting led by the <a href="https://www.jewishallianceri.org/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Jewish Alliance</a>. Candles will be provided. Local artist Jo Baker will also help display and share the stories of family menorahs.

Music: The <a href="https://www.extraordinaryrenditionband.com/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Extraordinary Rendition Band</a> will play music after we have lit the menorahs and the Christmas tree! Dress warmly and get ready for an impromptus dance party.

Refreshments: Hot cocoa provided by the Providence Canteen and other baked goodies.

Food drive: Please bring a dry, canned and non-perishable food items, and the Friends of Lippitt Park will be making a donation to food pantries to support local families.

Discover the magic of painting with glass! In this fun and relaxing workshop, you'll use specially formulated glass paints and glass powder and frit to create your own colorful design on a 6" x 6" clear glass panel. Whether you prefer flowers, abstract patterns, whimsical landscapes, or something completely your own, this class is a great way to explore color and creativity without needing any previous experience.
Once your masterpiece is complete, we'll kiln-fire your piece to permanently fuse the paints into the glass, creating a vibrant and durable work of art. Your finished window hanging will be ready for pickup the following week and includes ribbon or hanging hardware for display.
Perfect for beginners, creative friends, and anyone looking to try something new!
If you would like please bring in a 6x6 picture of whatever you would like to replicate in glass. You can place the image behind the clear 6x6 square and trace.
You can also come with no picture at all and create with your heart.

Whether you’re making memories with your child, grandchild, niece, nephew, or a special friend, this class is all about laughter, creativity, and quality time. As an extra treat, every painter will receive a delicious ice cream surprise during class! (We’re thinking a yummy ice cream sandwich or a classic King Cone to match the theme!) ✨ No experience needed – we’ll guide you step-by-step. 🎨 Each painter creates their own canvas to take home. 🍦 Sweet treats included for every guest! ❤️ The perfect way to unplug, connect, and make lasting memories together. Bring your imagination and your sweet tooth—we’ll take care of the rest! Recommended for ages 5 and up. Ice Cream Sundae (Including Real Ice Cream) - Painting Class

The price is for ONE person. If booking for a couple, please order two spots. Bring your sweetie and learn how to make your own drinking glass during this two-hour class. Enjoy a casual atmosphere. Students are welcome to bring their own refreshments and snacks to enjoy while you learn the basics of blowing glass. Each participant will make a glass that you can bring home and enjoy forever! Your beautiful creations will be ready to pick up 48 hours after your class so the glass can be annealed in our kilns. This class will have up to 8 people with each person getting a one-on-one turn to make something in glass that they can keep. While waiting for your turn, we encourage guests to watch and learn while the other students take their turn. Participation and teamwork are also encouraged. All finished products can be picked up after 2 days once they finish annealing in our kilns. If you would like your items shipped, we charge a $20 fee that can be paid at that time.
