Shop a curated lineup of local makers, artists, and small businesses while sipping your favorite wine in the cozy vineyard setting. Stay for full menu dining or simply grab a glass and browse the vendors. Discover our dynamic planet, past and present! Enjoy activity tables and daily planetarium shows (ages 4 and older, $5) at 2pm. From the ground under your feet to the sky above, join us at Museum of Natural History and Planetarium in Roger Williams Park to explore the wonders of our incredible Earth. Museum admission is $2 | Free for Museum Members and children under age 4. Planetarium shows (includes Museum Admission) are $5 | Free for Museum Members. Children must be age 4 or older to attend the planetarium show. 
Daily Activities | Saturday, April 18 – Friday, April 24 10am–4pm | Earth Family Fun Explore a variety of family-friendly, hands-on activities highlighting our local and global ecosystems. Cost: Free with Museum admission. 
2pm | Our Place in Space Planetarium show There’s no place like home! Begin your journey on Earth and travel through our solar system and beyond. Explore the craters of Mercury, the storms of Neptune, and discover what makes Earth unique before venturing into nebulae and star clusters of the Milky Way galaxy. Show includes updated visuals! Audience: General (children must be age 4+) Cost: Planetarium show ticket (includes museum admission) is $5/ Museum Members Free. IMPORTANT PLANETARIUM SHOW GUIDELINES: Tickets are recommended to be reserved online, including for Museum Members. Availability is limited. All sales are final. Everyone attending the planetarium show needs a ticket. Children must be age 4 or older; those 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Children must be supervised at all times. Phones must be silenced, and attendees should remain quiet during the show to help everyone enjoy the full experience. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early for check-in, as doors close at showtime and will not reopen—no late entry is permitted for visitor safety once the show begins.

Immerse yourself in a fun and creative atmosphere while painting your own unique&nbsp; masterpiece!
Recommended for ages 14 and up.
 ⏰ ARRIVAL TIME Our studio opens&nbsp;30 minutes prior&nbsp;to class time. We recommend arriving&nbsp;15–30 minutes early&nbsp;to find parking, grab a drink, and get settled.
Please note:&nbsp;If you arrive late, the artist may not be able to fill you in on the steps you missed, as they will be focused on guiding the rest of the class. If you arrive&nbsp;more than 20 minutes late,&nbsp;we kindly ask that you do not join the session. Late arrivals can be disruptive and may not have enough time to complete the painting. Unfortunately,&nbsp;we cannot offer refunds or reschedules&nbsp;for late arrivals.

Join Malia Cafasso, TerraCorps Community Engagement Coordinator at Audubon Society of Rhode Island and Stormwater Innovation Center, to learn about how to use iNaturalist and participate in the City Nature Challenge. The City Nature Challenge (April 24–27), is an annual international event to collaboratively record as many wildlife observations as possible during a four-day challenge. People from all over the world explore nature in their neighborhoods and cities to find and document wildlife. 2026 marks Rhode Island’s 5th year participating, and we need community members like you to help us record as many species as we can. iNaturalist, a free smartphone app that allows anyone to photograph and identify plants and animals while contributing to real scientific research. Scientists and conservation organizations use this community-collected data to monitor biodiversity and track environmental change. Come learn how your iNaturalist observations can make a difference! Cost: Free (attendees receive Free Museum Admission on April 23)
