UPCOMING PERFORMANCE: Trois Gras Thursday, June 18 | 6:30pm Enjoy the classic organ jazz sound with this Providence-based trio. Performing standards and original compositions with a vintage spirit, the group features Elias Muhanna (organ), Ben Pell (guitar), and Michael Lewis (drums).

Light of Hope

Saturday, May 23 | 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.
Developed as a healing art, qigong is a gentle yet empowering movement practice that strengthens your vital energy (qi). Similar to tai chi, it is usually practiced slowly while standing, but because it does not involve a specific sequence of movements it is simpler to learn. No experience needed.
Following qigong practice, we will settle onto the floor to learn a few self-acupressure points. (A couple chairs will be available if needed.) The workshop will conclude with a brief meditation, either seated or supine, in which acupressure will be offered. Bring a mat or blanket if you have one, and wear loose clothing.

We’ll search the canopy for warblers, tanagers and more. Please wear comfortable shoes and bring binoculars if you have them. All skill levels are welcome. Walks meet in the Museum of Natural History and Planetarium.&nbsp;
