Create a colorful fused glass fish during Island Night on the River! This fun, beginner-friendly project is a great way to add a little glassmaking to your evening—and no previous experience is needed.
Choose your colors and arrange pieces of glass to design your own one-of-a-kind fish. Make it tropical, whimsical, realistic, wildly colorful—or invent a fish that has never before swum the Blackstone River!
This is a rolling-start class, so you can enjoy the party and fit your glassmaking experience into your evening. The first students may begin at 6:00 PM, with the last start time at 8:30 PM.
Plan on approximately 1 to 1½ hours to complete your fish. After class, we'll fire your creation in our kiln, and finished pieces will be available for pickup the following weekend or anytime after.
Great for Kids & Beginners
This is a super-easy, beginner-friendly project and a great choice for families. The class is open to ages 9 and up.
Students ages 9–12 must have an adult working with them one-on-one and providing hand-over-hand supervision as needed throughout the project.
*Adult must pay for general admission ticket if they are not also creating a fused fish*
