Museum of Natural History and Planetarium

Step back in time to explore the Betsey Williams Cottage, built in 1773 and home to Roger Williams’ great-great-great granddaughters, Betsey and Rhoda Williams. Upon her death in 1871, Betsey Williams bequeathed the cottage and 102 acres of surrounding farmland to the city of Providence, which became the foundation of Roger Williams Park. 
Drop-in during these FREE open houses to learn about the Cottage’s history and its significance to Roger Williams Park. The open houses are FREE and open to the public. Presented by the <a href="https://www.providenceri.gov/museum/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Museum of Natural History and Planetarium</a>. The Betsey Williams Cottage is located near Roger Williams Park’s Elmwood Avenue entrance. Thinking about law school? Join Roger Williams University School of Law for the annual Providence Law School Fair, where you'll have the opportunity to explore legal education and connect with representatives from more than 40 ABA-approved law schools from across the United States.
The event begins with a Law School Admissions 101 Panel from 12:00–1:00 p.m., where admissions professionals will provide an overview of the law school admissions process and answer general questions. Following the panel, attendees are invited to meet one-on-one with representatives from participating law schools during the Law School Fair from 1:00–3:00 p.m.

🖌️ IN-STUDIO SESSION DETAILS Reserve your spot and enjoy a complimentary beverage—choose from soda, beer, or wine (21+ with valid ID). Additional drinks will be available for purchase. Immerse yourself in a fun and creative atmosphere while painting your own unique masterpiece! Recommended for ages 14 and up. ⏰ ARRIVAL TIME Our studio opens 30 minutes prior to class time. We recommend arriving 15–30 minutes early to find parking, grab a drink, and get settled. Please note: If you arrive late, the artist may not be able to fill you in on the steps you missed, as they will be focused on guiding the rest of the class. If you arrive more than 20 minutes late, we kindly ask that you do not join the session. Late arrivals can be disruptive and may not have enough time to complete the painting. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds or reschedules for late arrivals. 🚗 PARKING INFO Our studio is located at 150 Main Street (rear entrance), Pawtucket, Rhode Island, and we have two FREE parking lots: 🚗 One directly attached to our entrance 🚗 A second lot just one building down on the same side of the street — clearly labeled 🪑 WANT TO SIT WITH FRIENDS? If you purchased 2 or more tickets in one transaction, we’ll automatically seat your group together.
