Discover what makes atoms tick and learn about the science behind nuclear energy, radiation and more.

12:30pm–1:30pm: Plasma Globe Demonstration
See electricity in action and watch glowing streams of light dance inside a plasma globe during this fun, hands-on science demonstration.

The Sun: Our Living Star Fulldome Planetarium Show
Did you know the Sun has shone on our world for four and a half billion years?  It is our nearest star and our planet’s powerhouse, the source of the energy that drives our winds, our weather and all life. Discover the secrets of our star and its impacts on Earth. This show uses the ASH Warped Media fulldome projection system that surrounds audiences with 360-degree digital visuals on the dome and DOES NOT include a brief tour of the night sky using the planetarium’s Zeiss star projector.
Planetarium Show Audience: General (children must be age 4+)
Cost: Planetarium show ticket (includes museum admission) is $5/ Museum Members Free.
