Man Shot With Arrow In Providence: Police
A 28-year-old man was shot in the back with an arrow on Hartford Avenue on Tuesday night.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A 28-year-old man was taken to the hospital Tuesday night after being shot in the back with an arrow. While standing in a parking lot on Hartford Avenue, he felt something hit him in the back, and, looking over his shoulder, realized he had been shot with an arrow.
The victim then ran into a local barbershop for help, Providence police said, and was treated by Providence Firefighters before being taken to Rhode Island Hospital for further treatment. Providence police did not release the extent of his injuries, and his current condition is unknown.
According to Providence police, the victim reported seeing a man in a black hoodie and jeans running away from the area right after he was shot. No arrests have been made at this time and the incident is still under investigation.
