Man Riding Motorcycle Shot In Providence

PROVIDENCE, RI — A 28-year-old man was rushed to Rhode Island Hospital Sunday Afternoon after police said he was shot while riding near Elmwood Avenue and Cadillac Drive.

Investigators told WPRI 12 that they placed markers at several bullet casings. The investigators counted at least 22 shells on the ground.

Police said the victim's injuries were serious and required surgery.

Police have not identified the suspect and no motive has been determined.
