Pawtucket Man Wanted On Eluding Law Charge Nabbed: Cops
He was pulled over and arrested in Providence, police said.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A Pawtucket man wanted on a charge of eluding law enforcement in a high-speed chase was apprehended, police said.
Sammy Hazard, 20, was pulled over on Branch Avenue in Providence shortly after 3 a.m. Friday and arrested on a warrant charging him with eluding a law enforcement vehicle in a high-speed pursuit, reckless driving and other offenses against public safety, and driving after suspension of license, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Hazard was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and "held pending morning arraignment, where he will be presented as a probation violator," the release said.
