Providence Firefighter And 'Proud Father' Dead At 41
"Cipriano 'Cip' Illiano was loved and will be missed by many," Providence Fire Fighters wrote Monday.

PROVIDENCE, RI — An active-duty Providence firefighter has died at age 41, Providence Fire Fighters announced Monday night.
In addition to serving as a local firefighter for 10 years, Cipriano Illiano "was a proud father and a passionate supporter of the Special Olympics," the union wrote in its news release.
"Cip was loved and will be missed by many," Providence Fire Fighters continued. "We extend our sincere condolences to his family and all who knew him during this incredibly difficult time."

According to his LinkedIn, Illiano also served as a firefighter in Tiverton, an EMT, and a Border Patrol Agent during his career.
He studied nursing at the Community College of Rhode Island and received his associate's degree in Business Administration and Management at American InterContinental University.
