Providence Infant Drowns In Bathtub, Investigation Underway: Reports
Local reports say that police are investigating after a 10-month-old boy drowned in a bathtub on Chad Brown Street. Here's what we know.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A 10-month-old boy drowned in a bathtub in Providence over the weekend, according to multiple reports.
Police were called to the 2oo block of Chad Brown Street on Saturday morning on a call that a child possibly drowned, WPRI reported. Later in the day, ABC6 reporters posted video showing a medical examiner arriving on the scene.
Both WPRI and ABC6 confirmed that Providence police and Department of Children, Youth & Families are investigating the matter.

As of 11 a.m. on Monday morning, no one is in custody. No one else was injured, according to reports.
