- The Dunkin' Donuts Center needs a new roof. The current roof is approximately 50 years old and in need of repair. A new roof is estimated to cost nearly $8 million. (Milford Mirror)
- According to a press release from the City of Providence, Mayor Jorge O. Elorza has joined RIHousing to announce a new partnership to support Providence residents in applying for rental and utility assistance funds through RIHousing's federally-funded RentReliefRI program. RentReliefRI is a rental and utility assistance program designed to help eligible renters and property owners who have experienced financial hardship due to or during the COVID-19 pandemic. - Brown University ranks as the hardest school in Rhode Island to get into based on an index of admission rates and SAT scores. A reported 7.7% of all 36,793 applicants were admitted in the 2020-21 school year. (24/7 Wall St. - Providence)
- Major renovations have breathed new life into the Providence Public Library and the new space is a versatile beauty with a bevy of programs, activities and history to offer the city's residents. (The Providence Journal)
- Two Providence police officers have been put on administrative duty. An investigation in relation to their response, following a standoff with an armed man on Denison Street earlier in February, is currently underway. (The Providence Journal)
