Providence Man Charged With Driving On Suspended License: Cops

He was pulled over and arrested in Providence, police said.

PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence man was charged with driving on a suspended license, police said.

Alexander Castro, 27, was pulled over on Branch Avenue in Providence shortly after 10 p.m. Friday, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Castro was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and "held pending morning arraignment, where he will be presented as a bail violator,"the release said.
