Providence Man Charged In Warwick Bank Robbery
The robbery happened Friday at the Harbor One Bank on Warwick Avenue.

WARWICK, RI — A Providence man was arrested after police said he robbed a bank in Warwick on Friday.
William Archer, 59, was charged with second degree robbery on Saturday.
Police said the robbery happened around 2:20 p.m., Friday, at the Harbor One Bank at 2089 Warwick Ave. A man, later identified as Archer, wearing a white zipper style jacket, a black winter hat, sunglasses and a medical mask, entered the bank and passed a note demanding cash, according to police. Police said no weapon was displayed.

Police said Archer left with an unknown amount of cash.
After posting the man's image on social media, police questioned Archer, who implicated himself in the robbery, police said.
