Providence Man Jailed After Traffic Stop: Cops

The Providence man was pulled over on John Partington Highway, police said.

PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence man was jailed following a traffic stop, police said.

Dominic Costa, 25, was pulled over and arrested shortly after 4:15 p.m. on John Partington Highway in Providence, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Costa was charged with driving with a suspended license, according to the release.

Costa was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by a justice of the peace and taken to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men's Intake Center "where he will await presentment as a bail violator in Sixth Division District Court," the release said.
