Providence Police Seize 444 Marijuana Plants And A Loaded Handgun
A Providence man was arrested Friday after police said they seized 444 marijuana plants, eight pounds of dried weed, and a loaded handgun.

PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence man was arrested Friday after state police said they seized 444 marijuana plants, eight pounds of dried weed, and a loaded .22 semi-automatic handgun.
Anthony Patti, 31 was charged with intent to distribute, possession of more than 5 kilograms, distribution near a school, and possessing a firearm while committing drug crimes.

The arrest followed an investigation by a state police drug trafficking task force. On Friday, police executed a search warrant at Patti's home. Besides the marijuana and the gun, police said they seized four Adderall pills.

Patti was arraigned at Sixth Division District Court where he is being held without bail.
