RI Man Steals Van From Boston Children's Hospital: State Police

State Police said Andre Biggs, 32, of Providence, led troopers on a chase down I-95, before catching him in Mansfield.

PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence man was arrested Wednesday after Massachusetts State Police said he stole a van from Boston Children's Hospital and led police on a chase down Interstate 95.

Andre Biggs, 32, was charged with stealing a motor vehicle and reckless operation, WPRI 12 reported.

Boston police reported the van missing just after 1 p.m. State Police told CBS Boston the stolen van had a GPS tracker on it, and they were able to locate it at the ramp from Interstate 93 to 95 southbound. The chase ended on Route 140 in Mansfield, and state troopers found the suspect hiding under a truck in a parking lot on West Street, according to police.
