RI State Police ID Motorcyclist Killed In Providence Wreck
A 22-year-old New Bedford woman died in a crash on I-95 on Saturday night, state police confirmed.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A 22-year-old New Bedford woman died in a motorcycle crash on I-95 Saturday night, Rhode Island State Police confirm.
State police said Yessica Coreas-Hernandez was traveling in the high speed lane on 95 northbound when she lost control of her motorcycle just before Exit 19.
She struck a jersey barrier located in the center median, state police said, and was thrown from the motorcycle, suffering serious injury. The crash happened around 11:45 p.m., officials said.

Coreas-Hernandez was transported to Rhode Island Hospital by the Providence Fire Department, but was later pronounced dead by medical staff.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident, police said.
