Senior Bus Service To Start In Providence

From the Office of Mayor Jorge O. Elorza: Mayor Jorge O. Elorza will announce that the City will launch a dedicated charter bus service available to senior centers and residential facilities at no cost. The senior bus service will be available to senior Providence residents and participating residential facilities only.

The bus service will allow senior organizations and facilities to schedule group trips to shopping centers, supermarkets, restaurants, and other destinations within an hour’s drive of the City. Trip reservations must be made in advance.
