AT&T donates $11,000 to local non-profit

The Institute for the Study and Practice of Nonviolence welcomes AT&T gift

The Institute for the Study and practice of Nonviolence in Providence was founded in 2001 and is now a nationally recognized program. The Institute tries to teach, both formally and through day-to-day examples how to deal with difficult, and potentially violence provoking situations with thoughtful responses. The Center works with teens and young adults fostering an atmosphere of community and caring. Tuesday AT&T joined Providence Mayor Jorge Elorza to present a check for $11,000 dollars to help continue the work of The Institute. As a neighbor in Providence, with employees and customers who also live in the area, AT&T continues to commit to being a solid ally in the work of organizations like this.
