Wanted Cranston Man Jailed: Cops

PROVIDENCE, RI — A wanted Cranston man was arrested and jailed, police said.

Justin Araujo, 38, was stopped as he walked on Charles Street in Providence and arrested shortly after 3 p.m. Saturday, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Araujo was arrested on warrants charging him with failing to appear in court for receiving stolen goods and possession of a stolen vehicle cases, according to the release.

"Araujo was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institutions — Men's Intake," the release said.
