South Kingstown Woman Charged With Child Endangerment: Cops
She was investigated by the Special Victims Unit, police said.
NORTH SCITUATE, RI —A South Kingstown woman was charged with child endangerment, police said.
Rachel Benoit, 45, was arrested by the Rhode Island State Police Special Victims Unit shortly before 3 p.m. Thursday, the state police said in a media release.
"The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by members of the Special Victims Unit," the release said.

Benoit was processed at state police headquarters, arraigned by a justice of the peace and released pending a court date, according to police.
