Community Appeal - All Night Post Graduation Party
The SHS Parent Council is appealing to the community for donations to the annual All Night Post Graduation Party. At this event, the students can celebrate in a safe, substance-free environment.

Dear Community Member,
The Smithfield High School Parent Council is in the process of conducting its 24th annual appeal to enlist community support for the students of Smithfield High School. Contributions to the Parent Council will enable us to continue to offer the All Night Post Graduation Party that is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 for our graduating seniors. The purpose of this substance-free event is to ensure a fatality-free evening, by providing an alternative to party hopping, where the use of drugs and alcohol has led to tragedy.
Immediately following the graduation ceremony, students and chaperones will be taken by bus to a sports facility where they will enjoy various activities that include dinner, dancing, games, and surprise activities until 5:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2013. They will then return to the high school where they will join their parents for a Sunrise Breakfast.
