Bristol County Savings Bank Promotes Timothy A. Chaves to Assistant Vice President

SMITHFIELD, RI, July 28, 2014 — Bristol County Savings Bank (BCSB), headquartered in Taunton, Massachusetts, has promoted Timothy A. Chaves to Assistant Vice President.

As assistant vice president/commercial lending, Timothy Chaves is responsible for developing new business, cross-selling the Bank’s other products and services and assisting in the management of BCSB’s commercial loan portfolio while based at the Pawtucket branch, 215 Armistice Boulevard. Previously, he served as a Commercial Loan Officer and a Management Trainee at the Bank. Chaves is a member of The Risk Management Association - New England Chapter’s Young Professionals Group and a graduate of The Risk Management Association’s Loan Officer Resident Seminar. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting and finance from Boston University’s School of Management, Boston Massachusetts and is a graduate, with honors, from the Massachusetts Bankers Association School for Financial Studies at Babson College, Wellesley, Massachusetts. Chaves resides in Boston, Massachusetts.
