Bryant University hosts July 4th Fireworks

Bryant University, in cooperation with the Town of Smithfield, invites local residents to join us for a communal family celebration of American Independence. The evening will begin at 6 p.m. when Bryant University will open its campus, at 1150 Douglas Pike,  to the public. The United States Naval Band will perform beginning at 8 p.m. and will be followed by the age-old tradition of fireworks which is set to begin at 9 p.m. The public is encouraged to bring their own lawnchairs and blankets.

In the event of the weather being less than pleasant, the celebration will be postponed until July 6.

Outside fireworks, pets and alcoholic beverages are not permitted.
