Bryant University Rises In Bloomberg Businessweek's National Undergraduate Business School Rankings

SMITHFIELD, R.I.– Bryant University has moved up in the national undergraduate business school rankings by Bloomberg Businessweek to number 44 in the U.S. The university’s position increased by five spots as compared to the 2014 report and Bryant is the only Rhode Island institution to make the top 50.

This year's Bloomberg Businessweek ranking represent an entirely new methodology. Schools are rated based on a combination of academic components, including a student survey, in which Bryant's current undergraduates placed Bryant 25th out of the total 114 schools polled. The survey focused on the campus, career services department, faculty and administrators. Bryant was also recognized as one of the top 50 schools in the country for the percentage of undergraduates who completed an internship.

“Our advance in this latest ranking attests to the entire Bryant community's hard work and dedication to excellence. Our academic community has a passion for enhancing the entire experience for our students, across the board, and I believe our rise in the numbers reflects the success of the many programs we have instituted over the past few years,” said Bryant President Ronald K. Machtley. “Our academic leadership team and faculty, in particular, are to be commended for their deep commitment to continuous improvement which has moved us ahead and adds growing value to every Bryant degree.”
