Carol had been a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church and always a woman of strong faith. Carol was one of those extraordinary women who lived her life simply, quietly and devotedly to her severely Autistic child and the circle of love she wove around their life together. In spite of these unique challenges, she never lost her faith, wit, or loving kindness.

Besides her daughter, Carol is survived by her faithful and loving brother, Charles P. Young and best friend and sister-in-law, Virginia L. Young of Greenville, nieces; Cyndi Young Arruda of Lake Worth, FL, Kim Savoie of Burrillville, nephews; Alan Young and David Young of Cape Coral, FL.. In addition, many other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends who
reside in Maine and R.I. will dearly cherish the memory of Carol – our family's "one tough cookie".
