Elaine M. Pomposelli, Registered Nurse

Elaine M. Pomposelli, RN, 63, of Barbara Road, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013 at Hospice Care of RI Inpatient Center in Providence, according to Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home.

She was the wife of John Pomposelli, Jr.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Henry J. and Yolanda M. (Dextraze) Walsh. She lived in Chepachet for 39 years, previously living in Smithfield.

Mrs. Pomposelli was a registered nurse until retiring. She enjoyed swimming, doing crafts and living la vida loca.

She is also survived by her children, Jennifer Alfawaz , Suzanne Cariker and her husband, Jeff and Billy Pomposelli and his wife, Kristen all of Chepachet; her grandchildren, Omar Alfawaz, Courtney and Caitlin Cariker and Ryan and Ava Pomposelli all of Chepachet; her siblings, John Walsh and his wife Susan of Scituate, David and his wife Deb of Chepachet, Polly Hyde and her husband Andrew of Pascoag, Tammy Miller and her husband James II of Newport News, VA; and her cat, Brady.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 9:00 AM in St. Eugene’s Church, Putnam Pike, Chepachet. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made Home and Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904
