June A. McCoy: Devoted Family Woman

Great-grandmother died Sunday in Providence.

 

June A. McCoy, 80, of Snake Hill Road, died Sunday in the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence.  

The widow of Ronald E. McCoy, and a resident of Glocester for 48 years, June was a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. McCoy was born in Providence, to the late Ernest and Ida (Bernier) Miner.

McCoy enjoyed bingo and visiting with friends at the Glocester Senior Center. She brought great joy to her family and that was the center of her life. She will be sorely missed.

Her funeral will be held this morning at 8:30 a.m. from the Anderson-Winfield  Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Smithfield. Burial will be in Highland Park, Johnston. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
