Man Dies After Being Ejected From Car In I-295 Crash
State police said the victim was killed when his vehicle veered off I-295 North. The car rolled over, striking a light pole and a tree.
LINCOLN, RI — A Cumberland man has died after a crash on I-295 Monday night after being ejected from his car.
State police said Craig Fregeau, 42 was killed when his vehicle veered off I-295 North near exit 18. The car rolled over, striking a light pole and a tree.
Fregeau was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle, police said.

He was rushed to Rhode Island Hospital, but succumbed to his injuries Tuesday.
