North Smithfield Man In Jam For Allegedly Kicking Child At Chuck E Cheese's

ATTLEBORO, MA — A North Smithfield man is accused of kicking a little girl at the Attleboro Chuck E Cheese's on Saturday, according to court records. Daniel Lafayette, 53, told police the girl, 6, was trying to steal his tokens at the Attleboro entertainment center and restaurant. The child's mother said the girl was trying to help pick them up when he kicked her.
Lafayette pleaded not guilty to an assault and battery charge on Monday. He was freed on $500 cash bail.
