The Northern Rhode Island Board of REALTORS® has awarded scholarships to high school seniors Vivian Tian of Barrington High School, and Erick Schlicht, of Cumberland High School (not pictured.) Ms. Debby Smith, Charitable Works Committee Chair, presented a $1,000 award to Vivian Tian on
May 19, 2016.
“The candidates were really outstanding this year and we had a very competitive pool of qualified and talented students,” stated Ms. Smith. “The committee was pleased to offer Ms. Tian and Mr. Schlicht our 2016 scholarship awards in the amount of $1,000 each. We wish them both much success in their future academic pursuits!”
Each year, the Northern Rhode Island Board of REALTORS® provides two scholarships to local students. The funds for the scholarship program are donated by the members of the Northern Rhode Island Board of REALTORS®. Information and criteria may be found on the Board’s website at www.nribr.com each January and the scholarships are awarded in the Spring.
The Northern Rhode Island Board of REALTORS® is a chartered member Board of the National Association of REALTORS®.
